Sisterhood/Brotherhood Shabbat Dinner & Service-

On Friday, January 21st, Brotherhood and Sisterhood hosted their annual Shabbat dinner at Etz Chaim prior to leading the service. Over 60 people, including Brotherhood and Sisterhood members and their families, enjoyed a delicious dinner, which included brisket and Greek chicken. Following the dinner, Terry Shapiro and Sisterhood president Deborah Bacol led the religious service, with the participation of many fellow Brotherhood and Sisterhood members throughout the service. Howard Bender gave a memorable sermon on the Shabbat Yitro Torah portion, extolling the value of Torah as a leadership tool. The music was beautifully led by Greg Zelman. The Oneg following the service was provided by the Push family in honor of Kevin’s Bar Mitzvah as well as Brotherhood and Sisterhood.
