On January 11, 2009, the Brotherhood and Sisterhood of Congregation Etz Chaim presented “The Case for Marriage Equality”. The panelists included Rabbi Andrea Cosnowsky Associate Rabbi of Congregation Etz Chaim, Rabbi Lawrence Edwards of Congregation Kol Ami of Chicago and Catina Lowery of Lambda Legal. The forum was designed to educate the attendees on the issues related to Gay Marriage from a legal, financial, moral and Judaic perspective.
